Well the new year has started off really well, with many new families settling in, and many new children enjoying using their chrome books. A big thank you to all our families for paying the initial deposits and starting your weekly payments, your contribution is vital in being able to continue, to provide chrome books to your children,
Seven weeks in and its already been so busy for many schools, I have been in most of the schools during sign up sessions to promote parent training and have had a very positive response. I have undertaken a number of training sessions already, and it is always a pleasure to meet so many lovely parents and caregivers who are keen to understand and learn how our children are learning today.
One area that parents are always keen to learn about is how we can comment on our children's blogs, we can access their learning anytime and anywhere, and I know our children love to see when their parents are taking an interest in what they are learning. Please keep on giving positive feedback and comments to your children, it encourages their learning and that's got to be a great thing!
Our Manaiakalani Schools are very sports orientated, it is wonderful to see so many of our children participating in many sports, your child's commitment and dedication to their chosen sport/s is to be commended, as is all the parent coaches and helpers and teachers that make this all possible, they couldn't do it without you, so a big round of applause to you all.
Well the weather God's did not want to behave last Friday for Pt England's annual school picnic, you could not have got a better four days leading up to Friday, unfortunately its something we cannot control.
The next date is Friday 2 April fingers crossed for a beautiful day.
